What's your dream?

Nov 06, 2019

What's your dream?

I have been a little MIA over the past few weeks, my book came out and that was really exciting time but then I went back into my shell.

I am really proud of writing my book and I'm not really sure why I let the limiting beliefs take a hold.  Anyway I'm back!

The last few weeks has given me time to think ~ What is your dream?

My dream is to inspire others, to travel the world, have enough money to not worry about the money, have children, have dogs, work with women and be known for my outlook on life!

That is to name a few. So my question to you is what is your dream?

Don't let anyone tell you what your dream should be, be audacious and dream BIG!

Hit me back and let me know!

Oohh Pinteresting!

Oct 01, 2019

I have wrote a book!

Can you believe I am an author?  It is so strange saying that!

On Friday I launched my book, Oohh Pinteresting!  By the afternoon I had hit number 1 Amazon Kindle Best Seller!

This is something I have been writing and working on for months and it seems so weird that it is out for all the world to see.

Pinterest is a game changer and this book explains why you should be using Pinterest for business, how to get set up, how to convert clients and get amazing results!

This book is motivating and practical and gives you a step by step process to ensure you get the results needed for your business.

If you want to take a look at the book please visit Oohh Pinteresting here.

I hope you find the book a very useful practical guide.

Happy Pinning

Why you should be using Pinterest for Business

Sep 11, 2019

Why you should be using Pinterest for Business.

I use Pinterest for nearly everything from dinner to party ideas and business. A lot of people think it is a social media platform - WRONG! It's a search engine so you need to shift your mindset as it's not just recipes, DIY and home decor. You need to start thinking “how can I use this platform to better serve my customers and clients?”.

When using Pinterest did you find articles from business owners, did you find pins to purchase, did you find tips and tricks? Did you find a whole host of free value?

Don’t get trying to fool me, I know the answer is YES. Now think back to your business and think could one of those pins have been yours?

  • What is my ideal client typing in that search bar?
  • How can you communicate to your ideal client through Pinterest?
  • What can capture your audience’s attention and then get them off the app to become a customer?

So here are my tips as to why you should be using...

What is trending on Pinterest

What's trending on Pinterest?

Trends on Pinterest are massive!

Each month new trends are seen on the app so why not add some of your own pins that on-trend!

We're coming into the autumn/fall season (my favourite season) and with that our trends change from summer to chunky knit jumpers and spiced pumpkin lattes! Give me a chunky knit jumper curled up on the sofa with a book and latte any day!

The trends for September seem to be all about Autumn weddings, Halloween, Thanksgiving and comfort food. Look at some of these most popular pins and see if you can recreate them with your own products or services.

October trends continue with the autumn theme and Halloween but we start seeing a lot more winter fashion and Christmas tips.  If you have a seasonal product now would be the time to start promoting and sharing it on Pinterest.

Get trending!

The Perfect Pin

Aug 27, 2019

Are you tired of not getting results on Pinterest?  Fearing its more complicated than it needs to be?

Well, I have created the perfect pin checklist to ensure you get results for the pins you create.

  1.  Make sure your pin is vertical.  It needs to be at least 735 pixels wide but you can make it longer.  The standard size is 735 pixels by 1102 pixels. Vertical pins are seen far easier in the feed than horizontal.
  2. Use warm colours as this is more pleasing to the eye. Your audience is more likely to click on a pin that is warm in colour than a cool coloured picture.
  3. It’s got to be an easy to read styled photo. Pinterest is a visual search engine so it’s got be easy to read or your audience won’t stop to click.
  4. Pinterest is all about the visual so make sure you are using good quality images of your product or a stock image.  You don’t need to have a photoshoot to get good quality images. Just make sure to use well-lit images that...
